Leather: 90% of the beautiful leather I use is recaptured overstock from Italian fashion houses. Leather that might go to land fills, I transform into long-lasting handbags and accessories. Leather will age and develop a patina overtime. As it is a natural byproduct of animals it might come with unique characteristics such as branding marks or wrinkles. Give it some love by applying a leather conditioner occasionally and it will give you years of function and pleasure. 

Vinyl is strong, durable and resistant to water. It's lightweight, easy to wipe clean and is a good alternative to leather. I source vinyl that is made and custom printed in the USA. It comes in vibrant colors and some of the prints are works of art!

​Cork is grown in sustainable forests, mainly in Portugal, Spain and Morocco. Its harvest is strictly regulated and once the tree is stripped at age 20, it can be harvested again in 8-10 years. It's stain and water resistant, scratch-proof, hypoallergenic and anti-microbial, flame resistant, light and soft. Wipe gently with water if soiled.

Waxed Canvas is a hard-wearing and water resistant cotton fabric that is infused with wax which protects the fabric from water, wind and abrasion. Over time it acquires a patina of wrinkles and marks, adding unique character and charm. Never clean by submerging in water. Use a warm hair dryer to smooth out unwanted wrinkles. 

Cotton Canvas is durable and strong. My choices are printed in gorgeous colors and patterns, many custom printed and artist designed. Spot clean.

Waterproof and Water-resistant Canvas is a blend of fibers that undergo treatment to ensure water resistance. Because of its strength and resilience I use it for many bag linings.
